This concert was in a warehouse with smoke machines and colored lights as the sfx. It was the first show I had ever seen performed by NIN and is still my favorite. Super surreal experience. Depeche Mode played the same night, so NIN delayed their show by hours so folks could catch both.
Yes! I worked the ‘Smart Bar’. I was setting up and walked next door to where Radio Free Hawaii was hanging out…..Accidentally walking into NiN dressing room as they were patting themselves down with cornstarch. Trent gave me the coyest smile. What an amazing night. Saw Depeche Mode too. The best Weekend in Hawaii ever!
